Scholarship Info

This prestigious award was created when our most famous alumni broke the record in the Iron Horse Classic Road Race up to Silverton.  Both residents and non-residents will be considered for this scholarship; any major is eligible; maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher; student must apply and maintain the status of good standing in the men’s & women’s cycling team in order to be considered.  Application can be found at: http://www.fortlewis.edu/alumni_friends/foundation/scholarships.aspx#The%20Tom

Criteria: 

• Maintain GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Good standing in men’s or women’s cycling team
• Application form on the Foundation website, college (unofficial ok) or high school transcripts (if freshman), list of outside activities, 
  one page essay describing reasons for apply for this scholarship required
• Applicants may be in-state or out-of-state
• $500 minimum and up to cover tuition, fees and on campus room and board

one page essay describing reasons for applying for this scholarship.  $500 to $1,000
